Ainda no contexto do tema abordado por este filme, poderemos, durante o Jantar, conversar sobre a iniciativa: A viajar de carroça por uma Europa sem Transgénicos
Nasceu há sete meses na Alemanha mas durante uns dias é portuguesa. A iniciativa "Vita Activa", protagonizada pelo jovem casal Maria e Markus Schlegel, circula pela Europa numa carruagem antiga puxada por dois cavalos com o intuito de sensibilizar para a agricultura sustentável e contra os alimentos transgénicos. Até agora já atravessaram a Suíça, França e Espanha. Em Portugal estes arrojados viajantes vão percorrer, ao longo das próximas duas semanas, um itinerário que passa por Campo Maior, Elvas, S. Vicente, Arronches, Portalegre, Nisa, Vila Velha de Ródão, Castelo Branco e Monfortinho. Em cada local vão contactar com escolas, mercados e outros locais, numa interacção pessoal em muito facilitada pela curiosidade que desperta uma embaixada tão original. A Plataforma Transgénicos Fora apoia esta iniciativa e convida todos os interessados a participar numa marcha alargada que decorrerá no fim de semana de 28 Fevereiro e 1 de Março entre Arronches e Portalegre, a poucos kilómetros da dos ensaios com milho transgénico que decorrem desde o ano passado.
