A horta comunitária do Monte Abrão, em Queluz (concelho de Sintra) sofreu há uns tempos uma ordem de despejo. O confronto de interesses parece ser muitas vezes o mesmo: a partilha, o cultivo de comida, a ligação à terra e à comunidade versus, a construção em betão, o individualismo, a ganância pelo lucro e pelo esgotamento dos recursos em prol de um desenvolvimento que não dá comida, habitação, …. para tods.
Numa altura em que a Câmara Municipal de Sintra discute o plano de hortas comunitárias do conselho, o próximo jantar popular, pretende discutir sobre a importância das hortas comunitárias e o seu crescimento e fortelecimento da comunidade através da criação da rede de hortas comunitárias.
Como o RDA69 estará em obras esta semana, Jantar Popular dia 12 de Janeiro será na Quinta dos 7 nomes em Sintra.

O Jantar é servido às 20h. A conversa começa às 21h30. A partir das 16h vamos estar a cozinhar, todas as mãos são bem-vindas!
O que é o Jantar Popular?
- Um Jantar comunitário vegano e livre de transgénicos que se realiza todas as Quintas-feiras;
- Uma iniciativa inteiramente auto-gerida por voluntários do Centro Social do Jantar. Para colaborar, cozinhar, montar a sala basta aparecer a uma Quinta-feira a partir das 16h.
- Um projecto autónomo e auto-sustentável. As receitas do Jantar Popular representam o fundo de maneio do Centro Social do GAIA que mantém assim a sua autonomia.
- Um jantar onde ninguém fica sem comer por não ter moedas e onde quem ajuda não paga. A contribuição sugerida são 3€.
