In 1984 we experienced one of our darkest hours as French Secret Service agents planted two bombs aboard our flagship, the "Rainbow Warrior." Our dear friend and photographer, Fernando Pereira, drowned as a result of the blasts. The French government's plan backfired as its act of sabotage brought more attention to our cause than our planned protest against nuclear testing ever could.
